Art Palette
for Lacoste

Color. It’s meaning. It’s importance. It’s personality. Color speaks by itself and helps us decode an attitude, an emotion, a feeling. Color is a powerful way to understand people & artists. And that is why we based the project #ArtPalette around the concept of color. With the objective of discovering and giving visibility to the young creative talent, we designed a series of interviews that helped us find out the trend colors for the season ss2016/2017 . That’s the result.

For this project, we designed an interactive site that featured all the content we produced: Photos & interviews that  discovered the season colors palettes from different artists & creative minds. The objective was to get to o know them better & understand his work at best. And also share with the audience the colors of the season.

In addition to a series of photographies & interviews we also created a quiz that gamified the experience and allowed people to discover their season color:  What do colors mean to you? What do they transmit? How does color affect you? And your work? Do your preferences of colors change? The artists were asked about color from all possible perspectives & they talked about their references in terms of tonalities and inspirations.  We also asked about references and names such as  Brancusi to Miró were named. Also  Jeff Koons, Henri Matisse or Dries Van Noten and Osma Harvilahti.

#ArtPalette supported by Lacoste was a very inspiring project that became a reference on the Social Network.

The creatives  that collaborated in this project were  Salva López, Pepi de Boissieu, Gabriel Escámez, David Méndez & Carla Cascales
